The Cosmetology program shall consist of twelve hundreds (1200) clock hours that include technical instruction and practical operations covering all aspects of Cosmetology and opportunity for the student to acquire the necessary skills through practical applications developed under the supervision of the school’s instructors.
This is a specialty program which covers all aspects of cosmetology. Successful completion will qualify the student for licensure with the Department of Business and Professional Regulations. Licensee will be allowed to engage in the practice of cosmetology which includes the mechanical or chemical treatment of the head, face, and scalp for aesthetic rather than medical purposes, including, but not limited to, hair shampooing, hair cutting, hair arranging, hair coloring, permanent waving, hair relaxing, hair removing, pedicure, and manicure.
